Mermaid Protector Fish Skin Dive Caps for cold water are the sustainable thermal equivalent of 3 mm neoprene. They are similar to the Thermal Performance Class D. The fabric itself is the same as our swim/diving caps, but the special cut with the overlapping parts on the neck and shoulders make the cap also interesting for diving in cold waters.
The designs of the Dive Caps are inspired by the ocean and marine mammals. The caps are made of high-tech fabric specially manufactured for our purposes. Designed for comfort with streamlined shape our Diving Caps are easy to wear. The inner, anti-allergic layer of microfibre reduces surface friction during water sports activities and does not in any way damage the hair structure. Especially compared to the negative effects of neoprene hoods and caps.
Made in Europe:
Outer layer: 80 % recycled polyester, 20 % spandex, water-repellent (FREON FREE) coating
Middle layer: TPU membrane 280 g/sm
Inner layer: 100 % recycled polyester fleece

Custom-made products and/or individual adjustments make your order unique and cannot be returned or exchanged. The discounted items we have currently on sale – past season designs, ends of lines/ collections and misproduction items – are excluded from returns and exchanges. We are happy to advise you before your purchase regarding suitable sizes, the correct body measurements taking, or provide you with fabric samples. In the end, everyone will get their perfect Mermaid Protector or Oceanos product.
