For many years, Mermaid Protector has stood for sustainable, multifunctional outdoor and water sports clothing. For us, sustainability is not just a buzzword, but a way of life – in more ways than one:

• Recycled materials: All fabrics in our collections are made from recycled PET bottles. This allows us to reduce existing plastic waste and make an active contribution to protecting the world’s oceans.
• Closed loop: Our clothing is 100% recyclable. This allows us to avoid waste and focus on a sustainable circular system.
• Neoprene alternative: Mermaid Protector fabrics can completely replace conventional neoprene clothing. Neoprene requires numerous chemical processes and the depletion of limited natural resources – we avoid all of this with our innovative materials.

Our fabrics are genuine high-tech fabrics with three functional layers:
The outer layer consists of recycled polyester with a water-repellent, FREON-free coating.
The middle layer is a breathable membrane.
The inner layer is an ultra-soft microfiber fleece that provides pleasant warmth.

Made in Europe, these suits are true all-rounders for outdoor and water sports. Our suits are suitable for SUP, wakeboarding, surfing, diving, skiing—as well as for warming up afterwards. They also provide reliable protection from wind, sun, wetness, and cold during activities such as sailing, hiking, or horseback riding.

The designs are inspired by the beauty of the underwater world. High-quality zippers, flat seams, and a practical front zipper ensure comfort, durability, and easy donning and doffing—even under heavy use.

Today we would like to inform you about an important change.

The past few years have been marked by a lot of movement and change – for us too. In order to meet new requirements and opportunities, we are realigning our business model. In the future, Mermaid Protector will work exclusively with distributors, bulk buyers, and resellers. We will therefore discontinue our B2C business in the near future.

Until then, however, you still have the opportunity to order our products at the usual conditions or with attractive discounts. As long as our fabric stocks are full, we will continue to be happy to fulfill your individual requests.
